David Gartry has taught in The City University Faculty of Optometry and Visual Sciences for over 20 years and was formally appointed Honorary Visiting Professor there in 2006. He attended the opening of the new ‘City Sight Clinics’ at the university in Northampton Square, Islington on the 18th of January.

Professor David Edgar gave an excellent overview of the history of the Optometry department and the new clinic was opened by The Rt Hon John Bercow, Speaker of The House of Commons.
